Why Select Crisp? Top 5 Live Chat Software
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, why we switched, and the way you can make the perfect decision for your company and startup as well. You will know how to compare live chats and which metrics could be important for you too. Top 5 Live Chat Software
How was that decision made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we found Crisp through Producthunt. After we’ve made a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat vendors, we identified that the core attribute and metrics we were looking for.
What did we use before?
We have Used several other live chat before, which shifted their focus from a live chat to a”all in 1 business suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics that are significant for us were eliminated. We have used those metrics for our yearly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and more. After we had been in for four months those metrics disappeared and were replaced with other metrics. We’ve got a leaderboard for our team members, which we didn’t use because we are searching for quality support rather than quantity and the pricing appears to outperform the benefit. Our choice was apparent at the moment: we had to move on.
We found 14 times background, 30 days History and unlimited history (for higher plans that this is common), here the price scaling was intriguing. All live chats we attempted had this attribute, a few at higher price tags, others together with a poorly executed search feature, and so the background wasn’t available. Together with Crisp, the unlimited history is currently available with their first paid program, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, but also their search works exceptionally well.
How many connections do we want?
First, we attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will chat with us?” – and that has been incorrect – we made that mistake once. We can’t restrict on the contacts we make because we really want to make contact with them all. Endless contacts was what we were looking for (in a reasonable price tag). What we discovered were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite pleasant, we climbed that up a bit to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag switched from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of price scaling for most of the solutions. As we did exactly the same contact metric test for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by use – that is huge! They think the identical way we do at Storyblokwe don’t want to restrict the consumer to the usage of this system (eg. Content entrances or entries ), we want to scale as their staff scales. So at Crisp you choose a program and you may scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with exactly the same price tag.
Trigger events / messages
Automated triggers are used to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on precisely the same website for over 30 seconds”. Those causes are a good way to help your viewers with queries they may have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, possibly something is not covered in the FAQ section. This part is available in all solutions we analyzed and largely available in the first paid program.
Ability to send campaign emails
From Time to Time we send mails Using our live chat. We think that it’s a good way to retarget our viewers because we should have the ability to send pertinent content according to some metrics people live talks offer. In all honesty, we’re not sending many emails, because we also hate spam on our side. Therefore we want to send specific emails to particular target groups and : we really like the implementation in the Crisp client. It is straightforward and fulfilled our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Amount of agents
The agent chairs is rather Intriguing, it is something you can control. You could choose one account for the whole team (which can be cheap with the majority of solutions), or you could go for a single chair for each team member. Since we want to get that personal approach to our customers the notion of using one accounts for the whole group was dropped immediately. We’ve begun to compare the first paid plan against most of the high tier programs to observe how the cost scales . The highest costs we found were about ~$155/m per chair where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a look at Crisp again and found that their highest package has unlimited agents seats included. Also, their free strategy permitted 2 agents, which was great for analyzing. Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations to the key channels. We don’t really use integrations that much, but the one we use the most is using Slack. Slack is the main communication tool in our company, we utilize it on a daily basis and added most of our resources – so we focused on how they operate and perform together with Slack. We analyzed some of these and most are actually working very well. We found one that has huge delays when messaging from and to Slack that was a no-go for us. We reported that issue to these, but we do not know whether they changed it because we left six months ago. Together with Crisp the integration worked immediately, notifications came immediately and the whole set-up was completed in a few minutes.
What is Crisp?
“Crisp is the simplest way To communicate with your customers. From sales to customer support, Crisp is made to keep your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp offers a single channel to reply to your users using a simple team inbox where you are able to manage all of your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with the attention on that chat experience for the clients. Which is exactly what we were looking for as we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you read The last few points you saw that we contrasted the lower tier programs and feature together with the maximum tier plans, some are economical at the beginning and become expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and switched from a competitor because of the pricey”end” and those attribute we didn’t need but would need to pay for. We’re glad to say we think we have the best match for us, perhaps it will fit as nicely for you. We saw the list of 8 aspects above is all you want to find your best fit.
We made contact with incredible Fantastic people (thank You!) And companies all over the globe. We might have had the same experience with other live discussions as well, but the price combined with the feature set Crisp does offer, we would and already do recommend it to all customers who are looking for a live chat . We’ve upgraded to the Crisp unlimited plan some time ago, and are thankful we made that decision.
