Why choose Crisp? We Run
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, the reason we switched, and how you can make the perfect choice for your company and startup too. You may know how to compare live talks and that metrics could be important for you too. We Run
How was that selection made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature on the market, we found Crisp via Producthunt. After we’ve made a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat sellers, we defined the core attribute and metrics we were looking for.
What did we use before?
We have Used several other live chat before, which somehow shifted their attention from a live chat to a”all in one company suite”. Their live chat still works, but metrics that are significant for us were eliminated. We have used those metrics for our yearly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and much more. After we were in for four weeks those metrics vanished and were replaced with other metrics. We have obtained a leaderboard for our team members, which we didn’t use because we’re looking for quality service rather than quantity as well as the pricing seems to outperform the advantage. Our decision was clear at that moment: we had to move on.
We found 14 days background, 30 days History and unlimited history (for higher plans this is common), here the price scaling was interesting. All live talks we attempted had that feature, a few at higher price tagsothers together with a poorly executed search feature, therefore the background was not available. With Crisp, the unlimited history is already available with their original paid plan, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, also their hunt works astoundingly well.
How many contacts do we need?
We attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will talk with us” – and that has been wrong – we made that mistake once. We can’t restrict on the contacts we create because we really want to make contact with all of them. Endless contacts was what we were looking for (at an affordable price label ). What we discovered were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite pleasant, we climbed that up a bit to 1,000 active contacts and the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of cost scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did exactly the Exact Same contact metric test for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by usage – which is huge! They believe the same way we do in Storyblokwe do not wish to restrict the user to the usage of this machine (eg. Content entrances or entries ), we want to scale because their team scales. So at Crisp you select a program and you may scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or more) with the same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are used to Send a particular message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on the same website for more than 30 seconds”. Those causes are a good method to help your viewers with questions they may have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, possibly something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This part is available in all options we analyzed and largely available in the first paid plan.
Possibility to send campaign messages
From time to time we send emails Utilizing our live chat. We think it’s a good way to retarget our audience because we should be able to send relevant content according to some metrics those live chats provide. In all honesty, we are not sending many mails, because we hate spam on the side. Therefore we like to send certain emails to particular target groups and : we really like the execution in the Crisp client. It’s simple and satisfied our needs at a sensible price tag.
Number of brokers
The agent chairs is kinda Interesting, it’s something that you can control. You could choose one account for the whole group (which is cheap with most options ), or you could go for a single seat for each team member. Since we want to have this personal approach to our customers the idea of using one accounts for the whole group was dropped immediately. We’ve started to compare the very first paid program contrary to the majority of the high tier plans to observe how the cost scales again. The greatest prices we found were about ~$155/m per seat where the range was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a look at Crisp again and saw their highest package has unlimited agents chairs included. Additionally, their free strategy allowed 2 representatives, which was great for analyzing. We Run
Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations into Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations to the key channels. We do not actually use integrations that much, but the one we use the maximum is with Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our company, we use it on a daily basis and included most of our tools – so we concentrated on how they work and perform together with Slack. We analyzed some of them and most are actually working very well. We found one that has huge delays when messaging from and to Slack which was a no-go for us. We reported that difficulty to them, but we do not know whether they changed it since we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked immediately, notifications arrived immediately and the whole setup was completed in a few minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To communicate with your clients. From sales to customer support, Crisp is made to keep your workflow simple. From live chat to email, Crisp provides a single station to reply to your users using a simple team inbox where you are able to handle all of your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with all the attention on such chat experience for your customers. That is precisely what we were looking for as we evaluated other solutions.
This one is tricky. If you browse The past few points you noticed that we contrasted the lower grade plans and feature together with the highest tier programs, some are economical at the beginning and be expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and switched from a competition because of the pricey”end” and those feature we did not need but might need to cover. We are pleased to state we think we have the very best fit for us, perhaps it will fit as well for you. We saw the list of 8 aspects above is all you need to locate your best fit.
We made contact with incredible Fantastic people (thank You!) And businesses all around the world. We could have had the exact same experience with other live chats as well, but the price combined with the attribute set Crisp does offer, we would and do recommend it to all of customers who are searching for a live chat . We have upgraded to the Crisp unlimited plan some time ago, and are glad that we made that decision.
