Why Select Crisp? Web Hooks
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, why we switched, and the way you can make the perfect decision for your company and startup too. You will know how to compare live chats and which metrics could be significant for you also. Web Hooks
How was that selection made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature on the market, we also found Crisp via Producthunt. After we have created a Spreadsheet with multiple live chat vendors, we identified that the core feature and metrics we were looking for.
What did we use before?
We have Used several other live chat earlier, which somehow shifted their attention from a live conversation to an”all in one company suite”. Their live chat still works, but metrics which are significant for us were eliminated. We’ve used those metrics for our monthly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and more. After we had been in for four months those metrics disappeared and were replaced by other metrics. We have obtained a leaderboard for our staff members, which we did not use because we are looking for quality service and not quantity and the pricing appears to outperform the advantage. Our decision was apparent at that moment: we needed to move on.
We found 14 days history, 30 days History and unlimited history (for greater plans that this is common), also here the price scaling was intriguing. All live talks we tried had that feature, a few at higher price tags, others combined with a poorly implemented search feature, therefore the background wasn’t accessible. Together with Crisp, the unlimited history is currently available with their original paid plan, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, also their search works exceptionally well.
How many contacts do we need?
First, we attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will chat with us?” – and that has been wrong – we made that mistake already once. We can’t limit on the connections we make because we actually want to make contact with all of them. Endless contacts was exactly what we were looking for (in a reasonable price tag). What we found were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite pleasant, we scaled that up a bit to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or even more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of cost scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did exactly the same contact metric evaluation for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by use – which is enormous! They think the identical way we do in Storyblok, we don’t wish to limit the user to the usage of the machine (eg. Content entries or entries ), we would like to scale because their staff scales. So at Crisp you select a program and you can scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or more) with exactly the exact same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are used to Send a particular message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on the same site for over 30 seconds”. Those causes are a fantastic way to help your audience with questions they could have. We use it on our pricing page since from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, possibly something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This component is available in all options we tested and mainly available in the very first paid program.
Ability to send campaign emails
From time to time we send emails Using our live chat. We think that it’s a good way to retarget our audience because we should have the ability to send relevant content based on some metrics people live chats offer. To be honest, we are not sending many mails, because we also hate spam on the side. Therefore we like to send certain emails to particular target groups and again: we really like the implementation in the Crisp client. It is simple and satisfied our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Amount of agents
The broker chairs is rather Intriguing, it’s something that you can control. You could choose one accounts for the entire team (which can be cheap with most options ), or you might go for a single chair for each team member. Since we want to have this personal approach to our clients the idea of using one account for the entire team was dropped immediately. We have begun to compare the very first paid plan contrary to most of the high tier programs to see the way the cost scales again. The highest costs we discovered were approximately ~$155/m per chair where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a look at Crisp again and saw that their highest bundle has unlimited agents chairs included. Also, their free strategy allowed 2 representatives, which was great for analyzing. Web Hooks
Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations to the main channels. We do not really utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the most is with Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our business, we utilize it on a daily basis and included most of our tools already – so we concentrated on how they work and function together with Slack. We analyzed some of these and many are actually working quite well. We found one which has huge delays when messaging from and also to Slack that was a no-go for us. We reported that issue to these, but we do not know whether they changed it since we left six months ago. Together with Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications arrived immediately and the entire set-up was done in a few minutes.
What is Crisp?
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your clients. From sales to customer service, Crisp is designed to maintain your workflow simple. From live chat to email, Crisp provides one channel to reply to your users using a very simple team inbox where you can manage all your user inquiries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with all the attention on such chat experience for the customers. That is exactly what we were looking for since we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you browse The past few things you noticed that we compared the lower grade plans and feature with the maximum tier programs, some are economical at the start and become costly as you use them. After using Crisp for six months today, and changed from a competitor because of the pricey”end” and those feature we didn’t need but might have to cover. We’re pleased to say that we believe we have the very best fit for us, maybe it will fit as nicely for you. We saw the list of 8 facets above is all you need to find your best fit.
We made contact with incredible Fantastic people (thank You!) And companies all over the world. We could have had exactly the same experience with other live chats too, but the price tag combined with the attribute set Crisp does provide, we’d and do recommend it to all of clients who are looking for a live chat themselves. We have updated to the Crisp endless plan a while ago, and are thankful that we made that decision.
