Why Select Crisp? Webook
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, why we switched, and how you can make the perfect decision for your business and startup as well. You will know how to compare live chats and which metrics might be important for you also. Webook
How was that decision made?
Taking a Look at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we also found Crisp through Producthunt. After we have created a Spreadsheet with multiple live chat vendors, we defined the core attribute and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use before?
We have Used multiple other live chat before, which somehow shifted their attention from a live chat to an”all in 1 company suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics which are significant for us were removed. We’ve used those metrics for our monthly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and more. After we were in for four weeks those metrics vanished and were replaced by other metrics. We’ve got a leaderboard for our team members, which we didn’t use because we’re looking for quality service and not quantity as well as the pricing appears to outperform the benefit. Our choice was clear at the moment: we had to move on.
We found 14 days history, 30 days History and unlimited history (for higher plans that this is common), here the price scaling was interesting. All live chats we tried had this feature, a few at higher price tagsothers combined with a badly implemented search feature, and so the history wasn’t available. Together with Crisp, the boundless history is already available with their first paid plan, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, but also their search works astoundingly well.
How many contacts do we need?
We attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will chat with us?” – and that has been wrong – we made that mistake already once. We can’t restrict on the connections we make because we actually wish to make contact with them all. Unlimited contacts was exactly what we were searching for (at an affordable price label ). What we discovered were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite nice, we climbed up that a little to 1,000 active contacts and the price tag switched from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of price scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did the same contact metric evaluation for Crisp we watched something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by use – which is enormous! They think the same way we do at Storyblok, we do not want to restrict the consumer to the use of the machine (eg. Content entries or entries ), we would like to scale as their team scales. So at Crisp you select a plan and you may scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or more) with exactly the same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are Utilized to Send a particular message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on precisely the exact same website for more than 30 seconds”. Those causes are a good method to help your viewers with questions they may have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, maybe something is not covered in the FAQ section. This component can be found in most solutions we tested and mainly available in the very first paid plan.
Possibility to send campaign messages
From Time to Time we send emails Using our live chat. We think it’s a fantastic way to retarget our viewers because we should have the ability to send relevant content based on some metrics those live talks offer. To be honest, we are not sending many emails, because we also hate spam on our side. Therefore we want to send specific mails to specific target groups and : we really enjoy the implementation in the Crisp customer. It’s simple and fulfilled our needs at a sensible price tag.
Amount of agents
The agent seats is kinda Interesting, it’s something that you can control. You could choose 1 accounts for the whole group (which can be cheap with the majority of solutions), or you might go for a single chair for each team member. Since we want to have that personal approach to our clients the notion of using one accounts for the entire group was dropped immediately. We have begun to compare the first paid plan against the majority of the high tier plans to see how the price scales again. The highest costs we discovered were about ~$155/m per chair where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a look at Crisp again and found that their greatest package has unlimited agents seats included. Additionally, their free strategy allowed 2 agents, which was great for testing. Webook
Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations into the main channels. We don’t really utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the most is with Slack. Slack is the main communication tool in our business, we utilize it on a daily basis and added most of our resources – so we focused on how they work and perform with Slack. We tested some of these and many are actually working very well. We found one which has enormous delays when messaging from and also to Slack which was a no-go for us. We reported that issue to them, but we do not know if they changed it since we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications arrived immediately and the entire set-up was completed in a few minutes.
What is Crisp?
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your clients. From sales to customer service, Crisp is designed to maintain your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp provides one channel to reply to your users using a very simple team inbox where you can handle all of your user inquiries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with the focus on such chat experience for your clients. Which is precisely what we were searching for as we evaluated other solutions.
This one is tricky. If you browse The last few points you noticed that we contrasted the lower grade programs and attribute with the maximum tier plans, some are economical at the start and become expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months today, and switched from a competitor because of the expensive”end” and those attribute we didn’t need but might need to cover. We are glad to say we think we got the best fit for us, perhaps it will fit as well for you. We saw the listing of 8 aspects above is all you want to find your best fit.
We made contact with incredible Fantastic people (thank You!) And companies all over the globe. We could have had the same experience with other live discussions as well, but the price tag combined with the attribute set Crisp does offer, we’d and do recommend it to all customers that are searching for a live chat . We have upgraded to the Crisp endless plan some time ago, and are thankful we made that decision.
