Why Select Crisp? Website Chat Support Software
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, the reason we switched, and how you can make the right decision for your business and startup as well. You may understand how to compare live talks and that metrics could be significant for you too. Website Chat Support Software
How was that choice made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature on the market, we also found Crisp via Producthunt. After we’ve created a Spreadsheet with multiple live chat vendors, we defined the core feature and metrics we were looking for.
What did we use previously?
We’ve Used multiple other live chat earlier, which shifted their focus from a live conversation to an”all in 1 company suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics which are important for us were removed. We have used those metrics for our yearly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and much more. After we were in for four months those metrics disappeared and were replaced with other metrics. We’ve obtained a leaderboard for our staff members, which we didn’t use because we’re looking for quality support rather than quantity and the pricing appears to outperform the advantage. So our choice was apparent at that moment: we had to move on.
We found 14 days history, 30 days History and unlimited history (for higher plans that this is common), also here the price scaling was interesting. All live chats we tried had that feature, some at higher price tagsothers combined with a poorly implemented search feature, and so the background wasn’t available. With Crisp, the boundless history is currently available with their original paid plan, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, also their search works astoundingly well.
How many contacts do we need?
First, we attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many customers will chat with us” – and that was incorrect – we made that mistake already once. We can’t restrict on the contacts we make because we actually want to earn contact with all of them. Unlimited contacts was what we were searching for (at a reasonable price tag). What we discovered were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite nice, we climbed up that a bit to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of price scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did exactly the same contact metric test for Crisp we saw something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by usage – that is enormous! They believe the identical way we do at Storyblok, we don’t wish to limit the consumer to the use of this system (eg. Content entrances or entries ), we want to scale because their team scales. So at Crisp you choose a program and you can scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with exactly the same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are Utilized to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on precisely the same site for more than 30 seconds”. Those triggers are a fantastic way to help your audience with questions they could have. We use it on our pricing page since from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, maybe something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This part is available in most solutions we tested and mainly available in the very first paid plan.
Ability to send campaign emails
From Time to Time we send emails Utilizing our live chat. We think that it’s a good way to retarget our audience because we ought to be able to send relevant content according to some metrics those live chats offer. To be honest, we’re not sending many mails, because we also hate spam on our side. Therefore we want to send certain emails to particular target groups and again: we really enjoy the execution in the Crisp client. It’s straightforward and fulfilled our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Number of brokers
The broker chairs is kinda Interesting, it’s something you can control. You could choose 1 account for the whole team (which is cheap with the majority of solutions), or you might go for a single chair for every team member. Since we want to have this personal approach to our clients the notion of using one accounts for the entire group was dropped immediately. We have begun to compare the very first paid program contrary to the majority of the high tier plans to see how the cost scales again. The highest prices we found were about ~$155/m per seat where the range was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a peek at Crisp again and saw their highest package has unlimited agents seats included. Additionally, their free strategy permitted 2 agents, which was excellent for analyzing. Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations into Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations to the main channels. We do not really use integrations that much, but the one we use the most is using Slack. Slack is the main communication tool in our business, we utilize it on a daily basis and included most of our resources – so we focused on how they work and function with Slack. We analyzed some of these and many are actually working very well. We found one that has huge delays when messaging from and to Slack that was a no-go for us. We reported that issue to these, but we don’t know whether they changed it since we left six months ago. Together with Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications arrived immediately and the whole setup was completed in a few minutes.
What is Crisp?
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your customers. From sales to customer service, Crisp is made to keep your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp offers one channel to answer to your users using a very simple team inbox where you can handle all your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with all the attention on such chat experience for the customers. That is exactly what we were searching for as we evaluated other solutions.
This one is tricky. If you read The last few points you saw that we contrasted the lower tier plans and attribute with the maximum tier programs, some are economical at the beginning and be costly as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and changed from a competition because of that pricey”end” and those attribute we did not need but might need to pay for. We’re pleased to state we think we have the best match for us, perhaps it will fit as well for you. We saw that the list of 8 aspects above is all you need to find your own best match.
We made contact with incredible great people (thank You!) And companies all over the world. We could have had the same experience with other live discussions too, but the price combined with the attribute set Crisp does provide, we’d and do recommend it to all clients that are searching for a live chat . We’ve updated to the Crisp unlimited plan a while ago, and are glad that we made that decision.
