Why choose Crisp? Whats Live Chat
In this article I’ll cover our Experience with Crisp, why we changed, and the way you can make the perfect choice for your company and startup as well. You will understand how to compare live talks and that metrics could be significant for you also. Whats Live Chat
How was that decision made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature on the market, we found Crisp through Producthunt. After we’ve made a Spreadsheet with numerous live chat sellers, we identified that the core feature and metrics we were looking for.
What did we use previously?
We’ve Used multiple other live chat before, which somehow shifted their focus from a live conversation to an”all in one business suite”. Their live chat still works, but metrics which are significant for us were eliminated. We have used those metrics for our yearly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and much more. After we had been in for four weeks those metrics vanished and were replaced with other metrics. We’ve got a leaderboard for our staff members, which we didn’t use because we are looking for quality support and not quantity and the pricing appears to outperform the benefit. Our decision was clear at the moment: we had to move on.
We found 14 times history, 30 days History and unlimited history (for higher plans that this is common), also here the cost scaling was interesting. All live talks we attempted had this attribute, some at higher price tags, others together with a poorly executed search feature, therefore the history was not available. Together with Crisp, the unlimited history is already available with their first paid plan, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, also their search works exceptionally well.
How many contacts do we need?
We attempted to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will talk with us” – and that has been incorrect – we made that mistake once. We can’t limit on the contacts we create because we really wish to make contact with them all. Endless contacts was what we were searching for (at a reasonable price label ). What we discovered were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month that was quite nice, we climbed up that a bit to 1,000 active contacts and the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or even more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of cost scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did the Exact Same contact metric test for Crisp we watched something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by usage – that is enormous! They believe the same way we do in Storyblokwe don’t wish to limit the consumer to the usage of the system (eg. Content entries or contacts), we would like to scale as their team scales. So at Crisp you choose a plan and you may scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with exactly the same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are Utilized to Send a particular message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on the same website for over 30 seconds”. Those triggers are a fantastic way to help your viewers with questions they may have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, possibly something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This component can be found in most options we tested and largely available in the first paid plan.
Ability to send campaign messages
From Time to Time we send emails Utilizing our live chat. We think that it’s a fantastic way to retarget our audience because we should be able to send relevant content according to some metrics those live talks offer. To be honest, we’re not sending many mails, because we hate spam on the side. Therefore we like to send certain mails to particular target groups and again: we really like the implementation in the Crisp client. It is simple and satisfied our needs at a sensible price tag.
Amount of brokers
The agent seats is rather Intriguing, it’s something you can control. You could choose one accounts for the entire group (which can be cheap with the majority of options ), or you might go for one seat for each team member. Since we want to have this personal approach to our customers the idea of using one account for the whole group was dropped immediately. We have started to compare the first paid program against the majority of the high tier programs to observe the way the cost scales . The highest costs we found were about ~$155/m per seat where the range was somewhere from $15/m to that. We had a peek at Crisp again and saw that their highest package has unlimited agents seats included. Also, their free strategy allowed 2 agents, which was great for analyzing. Whats Live Chat
Everybody loves integrations. Integrations into Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats provide integrations to the key channels. We do not really utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the most is using Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our company, we utilize it on a daily basis and included most of our tools already – so we concentrated on how they operate and function together with Slack. We tested some of them and many are actually working very well. We found one that has enormous delays when messaging from and also to Slack that was a no-go for us. We reported that difficulty to them, but we don’t know whether they changed it because we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications arrived immediately and the entire setup was done in a couple of minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your customers. From sales to client support, Crisp is designed to keep your workflow simple. From live chat to email, Crisp provides one channel to answer to your users employing a very simple team inbox where you are able to manage all your user inquiries.”
From our experience, Crisp really Ships with all the focus on such chat experience for the clients. That is exactly what we were searching for since we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you browse The last few things you saw that we contrasted the lower tier plans and attribute together with the highest tier programs, some are economical at the beginning and become expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and switched from a competition because of that pricey”end” and those feature we didn’t need but would need to cover. We’re pleased to state that we think we got the best fit for us, maybe it will fit as well for you. We found that the listing of 8 aspects above is all you need to find your own best fit.
We made contact with incredible Fantastic people (thank You!) And businesses all around the world. We might have had exactly the same experience with other live discussions too, but the price combined with the attribute set Crisp does provide, we’d and do recommend it to all clients that are searching for a live discussion themselves. We have updated to the Crisp unlimited plan some time ago, and are thankful we made that choice.
