Why Select Crisp? WordPress Live Chat
In this article I’ll cover our Expertise with Crisp, the reason we changed, and how it is possible to make the right decision for your company and startup as well. You may know how to compare live talks and that metrics could be significant for you also. WordPress Live Chat
How was that choice made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature out there, we found Crisp through Producthunt. After we’ve made a Spreadsheet with multiple live chat sellers, we identified that the core attribute and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use previously?
We have Used multiple other live chat before, which somehow shifted their focus from a live conversation to an”all in 1 company suite”. Their live chat still functions, but metrics that are significant for us were eliminated. We have used those metrics for our monthly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and more. After we were in for four months those metrics vanished and were replaced by other metrics. We have got a leaderboard for our team members, which we didn’t use because we’re searching for quality service and not quantity as well as the pricing seems to outperform the advantage. So our choice was clear at the moment: we had to move on.
We found 14 times history, 30 days History and history (for greater plans this is common), also here the price scaling was intriguing. All live chats we tried had that attribute, some at higher price tags, others together with a badly implemented search feature, and so the history wasn’t available. Together with Crisp, the unlimited history is currently available with their original paid plan, and it not only ships with a reasonable price tag, but also their search works astoundingly well.
How many contacts do we want?
First, we tried to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will talk with us?” – and that has been wrong – we made that mistake once. We can’t restrict on the contacts we create because we really wish to earn contact with them all. Endless contacts was exactly what we were searching for (in a reasonable price tag). What we discovered were chats with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite nice, we climbed up that a little to 1,000 active contacts and the price tag switched from $0/m to ~$125/m or even more (~$500/m). We’ve had that experience of cost scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did exactly the same contact metric test for Crisp we watched something different:
So at Crisp, you don’t scale by use – that is huge! They think the identical way we do in Storyblok, we don’t wish to restrict the consumer to the usage of this system (eg. Content entries or contacts), we want to scale as their staff scales. So at Crisp you select a plan and you may scale the numbers from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or more) with exactly the exact same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are used to Send a specific message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on the same site for more than 30 seconds”. Those triggers are a fantastic way to help your audience with queries they may have. We use it on our pricing page because from time to time there are open questions regarding our pricing, maybe something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This component is available in most solutions we tested and mainly available in the first paid program.
Ability to send campaign messages
From Time to Time we send emails Using our live chat. We think that it’s a good way to retarget our viewers because we should be able to send pertinent content according to some metrics those live talks provide. In all honesty, we are not sending many emails, because we also hate spam on our side. So we want to send specific mails to specific target groups and : we really enjoy the execution in the Crisp customer. It is straightforward and satisfied our needs at a sensible price tag.
Number of brokers
The agent chairs is rather Interesting, it’s something that you can control. You could choose one account for the whole team (which can be cheap with the majority of options ), or you could go for one chair for each team member. Since we want to have this personal approach to our clients the idea of using one accounts for the entire team was dropped immediately. We’ve started to compare the very first paid program contrary to most of the high tier plans to observe the way the price scales again. The greatest costs we discovered were about ~$155/m per chair where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to this. We had a look at Crisp again and saw their greatest package has unlimited agents seats included. Also, their free strategy permitted 2 agents, which was great for analyzing. WordPress Live Chat
Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations to the key channels. We don’t actually utilize integrations that much, but the one we use the most is with Slack. Slack is the main communication tool in our company, we use it on a daily basis and added most of our tools – so we focused on how they operate and function together with Slack. We analyzed some of these and most are actually working very well. We found one that has huge delays when messaging from and to Slack that was a no-go for all of us. We reported that difficulty to them, but we don’t know if they changed it because we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked immediately, notifications arrived immediately and the entire set-up was done in a couple of minutes.
What is Crisp?
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your customers. From sales to customer support, Crisp is designed to maintain your workflow easy. From live chat to email, Crisp provides a single channel to reply to your users using a very simple team inbox where you can manage all your user inquiries.”
From our experience, Crisp actually Ships with the attention on that chat experience for the clients. Which is precisely what we were searching for as we evaluated other solutions.
This one is tricky. If you read The past few things you saw that we contrasted the lower tier programs and feature with the highest tier plans, some are cheap at the beginning and become expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and changed from a competitor because of the expensive”ending” and those feature we didn’t need but would need to pay for. We are pleased to state that we think we got the very best fit for us, maybe it will fit as well for you. We found that the list of 8 facets above is all you need to find your own best match.
We made contact with unbelievable Fantastic people (thank You!) And companies all over the globe. We could have had the same experience with other live chats too, but the price combined with the feature set Crisp does offer, we’d and already do recommend it to all clients who are searching for a live chat themselves. We have updated to the Crisp endless plan some time ago, and are thankful we made that choice.
