Why Select Crisp? Zendesk Live Chat
In this article I’ll cover our Expertise with Crisp, why we switched, and how you can make the perfect choice for your business and startup as well. You will understand how to compare live chats and which metrics could be important for you also. Zendesk Live Chat
How was that choice made?
Looking at the market leaders With live chat feature on the market, we found Crisp through Producthunt. After we have made a Spreadsheet with multiple live chat sellers, we identified that the core attribute and metrics we were searching for.
What did we use before?
We’ve Used several other live chat earlier, which shifted their focus from a live conversation to a”all in one company suite”. Their live chat still works, but metrics which are significant for us were eliminated. We’ve used those metrics for our yearly reports, and client overviews, growth rates and much more. After we were in for four months those metrics vanished and were replaced by other metrics. We’ve obtained a leaderboard for our team members, which we didn’t use because we are searching for quality support rather than quantity and the pricing appears to outperform the advantage. Our choice was clear at the moment: we needed to move on.
We found 14 times history, 30 days History and unlimited history (for greater plans this is common), also here the price scaling was intriguing. All live talks we tried had that attribute, a few at higher price tagsothers combined with a badly executed search feature, and so the history was not available. With Crisp, the unlimited history is currently available with their original paid plan, and it not only ships with a fair price tag, also their hunt works astoundingly well.
How many connections do we want?
First, we tried to answer that Question with another question”how many clients will chat with us?” – and that has been incorrect – we made that mistake already once. We can’t restrict on the contacts we create because we really wish to make contact with them all. Unlimited contacts was what we were searching for (at an affordable price label ). What we found were discussions with 100 active contacts for $0/month which was quite nice, we climbed that up a little to 1,000 active contacts along with the price tag shifted from $0/m to ~$125/m or even more (~$500/m). We have had that experience of cost scaling for the majority of the solutions. As we did exactly the same contact metric evaluation for Crisp we watched something different:
So at Crisp, you do not scale by use – that is huge! They think the identical way we do at Storyblok, we don’t wish to limit the consumer to the usage of this machine (eg. Content entries or entries ), we would like to scale because their team scales. So at Crisp you choose a plan and you may scale the amounts from 10 to 10.000 contacts (or much more ) with exactly the same price tag.
Trigger events / communications
Automated triggers are used to Send a particular message on predefined events, eg. “a guest is on precisely the exact same website for more than 30 seconds”. Those causes are a good method to help your audience with questions they could have. We use it on our pricing page since from time to time there are open questions about our pricing, possibly something isn’t covered in the FAQ section. This component can be found in all options we tested and largely available in the first paid program.
Ability to send campaign emails
From time to time we send emails Using our live chat. We think that it’s a fantastic way to retarget our audience because we should be able to send pertinent content based on some metrics those live chats offer. To be honest, we are not sending many emails, because we also hate spam on the side. Therefore we like to send certain mails to particular target groups and again: we really like the execution in the Crisp customer. It’s straightforward and satisfied our needs at a reasonable price tag.
Number of brokers
The broker chairs is kinda Intriguing, it is something you can control. You could choose one accounts for the whole team (which can be cheap with the majority of options ), or you might go for one chair for every team member. Since we want to get this personal approach to our customers the idea of using one accounts for the entire group was dropped instantly. We have started to compare the very first paid program against the majority of the high tier programs to observe the way the cost scales again. The greatest costs we discovered were approximately ~$155/m per seat where the scope was somewhere from $15/m to this. We had a look at Crisp again and saw their greatest package has unlimited agents chairs included. Also, their free strategy allowed 2 agents, which was excellent for testing. Zendesk Live Chat
Everybody enjoys integrations. Integrations to Slack, Telegram, Zendesk, Bitbucket, or Jira – you name it. Most live chats offer integrations to the key stations. We don’t really use integrations that much, but the one we use the maximum is with Slack. Slack is the principal communication tool in our business, we use it on a daily basis and included most of our resources already – so we concentrated on how they work and function together with Slack. We analyzed some of them and most are actually working very well. We found one that has enormous delays when messaging from and also to Slack that was a no-go for us. We reported that difficulty to them, but we do not know whether they changed it since we left six months ago. With Crisp the integration worked instantly, notifications came immediately and the entire setup was done in a few minutes.
“Crisp is the simplest way To speak with your customers. From sales to client service, Crisp is designed to maintain your workflow simple. From live chat to email, Crisp provides one station to answer to your users employing a simple team inbox where you can handle all your user queries.”
From our experience, Crisp really Ships with the attention on that chat experience for your customers. That is precisely what we were searching for since we evaluated other alternatives.
This one is tricky. If you read The last few things you saw that we compared the lower tier programs and attribute with the maximum tier programs, some are economical at the start and be expensive as you use them. After using Crisp for six months now, and switched from a competitor because of the pricey”end” and those attribute we did not need but might have to cover. We’re pleased to state we believe we have the very best fit for us, perhaps it will fit as nicely for you. We found the listing of 8 facets above is all you want to locate your own best fit.
We made contact with unbelievable great people (thank You!) And companies all around the world. We might have had the exact same experience with other live chats too, but the price combined with the attribute set Crisp does offer, we would and already do recommend it to all customers that are looking for a live discussion themselves. We have upgraded to the Crisp unlimited plan some time ago, and are glad we made that choice.
